Arbitrum
Arbitrum is a layer 2 solution for the Ethereum network that aims to improve scalability and reduce transaction costs on the blockchain. It is designed to provide a more efficient environment for running smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps) on the Ethereum network.
Arbitrum uses an approach known as rollups, which are protocols that process and aggregate multiple transactions into a single transaction in the Ethereum core layer. This reduces the load on the core layer, increasing network capacity and lowering transaction costs.
A key feature of Arbitrum is full compatibility with existing smart contracts on the Ethereum network. This means that developers can deploy their smart contracts on the Arbitrum network with little or no modifications, taking advantage of scalability and efficiency improvements.
