Fantom

Fantom is a high speed and scalable blockchain platform. It is designed to provide a secure and efficient environment for running decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts. The Fantom network uses a consensus framework called Lachesis, which combines elements of DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) and BFT (Byzantine Fault Tolerant) based consensus.

This allows Fantom to achieve high transaction speeds and provide fast transaction confirmation times. One of the main features of Fantom is its scalability. The network is designed to support a high number of transactions per second (TPS), which makes it suitable for use cases that require high speed and performance, such as payments, decentralized finance (DeFi) and gaming applications.
